05.02.2014 : 20th Retail Summit CZ

In Prague the 20th retail summit of the CZ Republic was visited by more than 800 experts from Central Europe. It is a tradition of the European Retail Academy to attend this highlight event.

This time Prof B.Hallier used the meeting of the Czech/Slovak ECR-Board (at the photo together with T.Martoch/ECR and Ch.Verschueren/Eurocommerce) as well as the summit's workshop about the Total Supply Chain to lobby for the EU-project FORWARD and the topic of saving waste.
 



15.01.2017: Academic Publications

To be accepted as an international scientist two columns are becoming more and more important:an active participation in conferences and research-results in academic publications.

In the start of 2017 three of the academic journals of ERA-partners have to be mentioned : "Marketing Science & Inspirations" edited by Peter Starchon and his team from Bratislava University, "Holistic Marketing" from Theodor Purcarea from the Romanian-American University in Bucharest and the "International Journal of Management Cases" from Gianpaolo Vignali from Manchester University. 25.02.2017 : Holistic Approach

Although within its name "Retail" is the key-word of the European Retail Academy its education is a more holistic approach integrating also Culture and History or Art or Leadership. Therefore www.european-retail-academy.org by a permanent evolution process was enlarged by additional Subsites .

The historical enlargement started already in 2005 by www.european-retail-academy.org/AgriBusinessForum followed in 2006 by www.european-retail-academy.org/urban-revitalization and www.european-retail-academy.org/FAB (ForumArtBusiness), in 2008 by www.european-retail-academy.org/ERM (EnvironmentalRetailManagement), in 2012 by a special for an exhibition : www.duerenstudentart.wordpress.com; in 2013 by www.european-retail-academy.org/GGU (Global Green University) , in 2014 by www.european-retail-academy.org/KTG and finally in 2017 by www.european-retail-academy.org/AEUC (Almaty Eurasian University Complex).
 



16.04.2012: News Russia

According to Buying Power Russia is Worldwide the number 6 of all the countries. Within Russia the City of Moscow is the nucleus of buying power! This power-center will be extended by its area to become the bigger Moscow Region being 2.4 times larger than the city today.



The Moscow Government will organize a three day Retail Conference in July 2012 to inform about its ideas and to prepare a platform for all stakeholders interested in innovation of the total supply chain. The European Retail Academy will support this initiative (more via email)
 

25.01.2014 : GGU at Facebook

Another component of Global Green University project will be implementation of modern technology in the research. For this purpose was created a facebook page: www.facebook.com/globalgreenuniversity



This tool will assist in linking existing contacts and extending the network among those who are active online. Social media will be explored as a new tool for distribution and collection of information.
