06.02.2017: Silk Road Network

Due to its joint activities with the Eurasian Economics Club of Scientists, the World Youth Economic Forum at the Astana Economics Forum and a close cooperation with G-Global Development Community the European Retail Academy started in the beginning of 2017 a new Silk Road Network as a vocational educational platform under the name of Almaty Eurasian University Complex.

The homepage european-retail-academy.org/AEUC has been designed and established by the former ERA-trainees Alina Pukhovskaya/Russia and Valto Vaaraniemi/Finland. The founding partners of AEUC are the European Retail Academy based in Germany and Trade Help as a first sponsor from Kazakhstan.

05.02.2020 : Tracking Innovation

According to Prof.Dr.B.Hallier the combination of Research & Penetration is the success-story of the worldleading exhibition EuroShop for shopfitting, retail technology, POS-Marketing. His exchange-students are part of the communication training for applied sciences (see: YouTube video)

24.04.2012: Review Smartagrifood

In Brussels the smartagrifood ? consortium presented the status quo of its Future Internet project. At the moment there are three back stage columns from farm to fork analyzed (flowers, fruit and vegetables, meat) and a proposal of the Spanish supermarket chain Bon Preu for the final link towards consumer awareness. To explain the tracings/tracking and a cutting house Prof.Dr.Hallier showed at the review a YouTube taken by his students from Finland during a visit of an ORGAINVENT-member Tils in Germany.

The next task will be to build business cases how to improve the competitiveness of the sector by new technologies like clouds, FI-ware, iPads, smartphones and QR-codes. By this the U-turn from farm to fork towards from fork to farm should be enabled.

25.01.2017: Focus Africa

Within a Global House of Harmony of Economics, Ecology and Ethics the African Continent has to be more in the focus of the global society, Prof.Hallier stated again in the beginning of 2017. Africa has to reduce its food waste at the level of crops as well as by better logistics and processing towards upgraded margins. Retail players can play a major part in this development. To support Africa a first Food Waste Conference will be hold in Nairobi/Kenya at March 29-31st 2017. Beside the Conference also parallel an awareness-exhibition from the international Art-Club (see www.european-retail-academy.org/FAB) will promote the topic at the National Gallery of Nairobi.

02.03.2017 : Eurasian Club of Scientists

The Silk Road Network www.european-retail-academy.org/AEUC has an additional partner: EECSA. The Eurasian Economics Club of Scientists Association (www.linkedin.com/eurasian-economic-club-of-scientists) was established in 2008 as an initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev .

Among the members of EECSA are Nobel Prize Laureates of Economics like Robert Aumann, Finn Kydland, Eric Maskin, Sir James Mirrless, Robert Mundell, John Nash (1928-2015, Edmund Phelps, Christoph Pissarides and Edward Prescott. One of the major projects of EECSA is the Astana Economic Forum (LINK). ERA is represented at EECSA by the professors Hanon Barabaner, Mikhail Fedorov and Bernd Hallier.
